Reformatting HDD on AJA Ki Pro
My manager brought me the 500 gig HDD from our AJA Ki Pro and told me he got a message saying it needed to be reformatted on our Mac. I reformatted it using Disk Utility, but it still doesn’t work.
Is it dead? Am I doing/have I done something immensely stupid? Any suggestions are welcome. 🙂

In all likelihood, the Ki Pro produced a “Backup and Reformat” prompt due to a directory error on the disk. You could have connected the Ki Pro Storage Module to a Mac, backed up the files by copying them, and then reinserting the Storage Module in the Ki Pro and formatting via the MEDIA menu.
