    Hi there..

    How do you reference the properties of comp 1 from within comp 2, let’s say you want to move one image in comp 2 with the keyframe of slider in comp 1..
    In AE 6.5

    thanks in advance

    Copy and paste keyframes from one comp to the other (clumsy)

    or

    use expressions to reference the property in the other comp.

    Hi Jim
    thank’s for the answer.

    What I mean is how do you replace the following statment :
    temp = thisComp.layer(“aa”).effect(“Both Channels”)(“Slider”)
    with one that make reference to a layer in a diferent composition.. let’s say comp2

    I have try temp=comp2.layer(“aa”).effect(“Both Channels”)(“Slider”)
    but, it didn’t work, so i wonder how to do it?

    Thank you…
