I have a Decklink Extreme card running on my system. I’ve downloaded the Prem 2.0 demo. My project is a Blackmagic 8-bit 4:2:2 color space. When I turn on the scopes in the reference monitor, I get nothing. However, if I apply a fast color corrector to a clip, the scope comes to life while adjusting the color wheel. Once I exit the effects controls, the scope stops responding. Any ideas?

Check to see if the Reference Monitor is “ganged” to the Program Monitor.

Ya, that was the first thing I checked. I’ve never had a problem working with the scope in the past. It’s strange. I suspect the Blackmagic card is somehow related to the problem.

I don’t know if the Black Magic cards are supported yet for PPro 2.o (Not even a great number of AJA cards are)…apparently it works well enough to function but this may be an area that will require attention.

When you place the effect on the clip, PPro’s video takes over from the card as that’s a PPro effect…I assume this is with some Black Magic media…?

…what project settings are you using

Yes it was Black Magic media. As well, the project was a Black Magic project. What’s odd is that I’m using the most recent drivers which were updated for Premiere Pro 2.
