I usually export reference .mov-files and use them in Compressor.

But now it seems to be impossible. Doing as usual – Batch export – Item settings – uncheck “Selfcontained” but FCP still exports selfcontained clips.

Are there any specific settings I might have forgotten, are there any conflicts with other programs, or …

    Thanks in advance

If your timeline is not rendered fully (make sure to go up to your Sequence > Render all and Sequence > Render Selection menus and make sure all the options have a check mark next to them, especially the full option), then render your entire sequence. The try your export again. If your sequence is not fully rendered, FCP has to render it before it gets exported.

Jeremy, that was the case – for some reason I believed that everything was rendered, but it wasn´t.

Stupid of me – sorry to have bothered.

It’s not stupid of you, it’s stupid that those options are off by default! 🙂
