    Howdy All,

I’m looking to use RSMB to create motion blur in a 3d sequence where the visual motion is provided purely by 3d camera movement. Namely the camera is flying over a large canvas.

What is the best way to use RSMB in this scenario. I don’t see any options for this kind of integration and since the “canvas” isn’t moving at all applying the effect to it does nothing.

One way that works is to precompose and apply to the 2d precomposed sequence and let it use the regular pixel interpolation method. Is this what is recommended in this type of project.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Josh

Either precomp as you describe or check AE motion blur with tons of samples if you have large motions is the only two ways I can think.

Yeah, I ended up going with the precomp. It looks pretty good.

    thanks for your response.
