    Hi all,

I’m working frequently with timelines involving A camera clips and C camera clips. The A camera are Arri, and have the naming structure: A001C001_170101_R0Z0.[1234567-1234567].ari
The C camera are .mxfs and have the naming structure:
    C001C001_170101_R1AA.mxf

I want to make a Reel Name Extraction Pattern that can cut everything after the last 4 digits of the clip name ie R0Z0 and R1AA.

I have tried */%R.[* which works for the A cam, but breaks C cam. And if I just use */%R.* then it works for the C cam but keeps the Frames on the A cam.

    I’m fairly new,

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Rory
