reducing head glare
I have a video which has the lecturer walking in and out under a light which makes his head over exposed. Does FCP have filters which can pinpoint the glared area and smooth it out with the softer areas?

Sorry, but the toupee filter hasn’t yet made it into the FCP arsenal. Why not post a still here to show us the extent of the problem and perhaps we can offer more informed solutions.
BTW, the Cow has great tools for including pix, video etc. in posts. It’s a terrific idea to learn to use them, as “a picture truly is worth a thousand words.”

If I were fixing that I’d most likely use a paint tool such as Combustion, which has a great tracking tool. PhotoShop extended might also work. I hear Motion has a paint module now, but I have not used it myself. Meanwhile, the tools Scott mentions might also have some promise.
Meanwhile, how long is the entire piece with the problem?
