Reducing camera slomo strobing (flicker)
Trying to eliminate the rolling flicker/strobing that happens when shooting under these lights. See video here https://vimeo.com/81940755
First is the clip as shot, then repeated but with CC wide time added set to 4 frames forwards and backwards which combines the frames and gets rid of the flicker but leaves quite an echo. Tried to smooth out with motion blur but it gets too blurry. So I want to be able to just copy the luma values of the combined frames but not the image itself. Anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks for the tips Todd. Unfortunately none of those solve the problem. I need to find a way to affect the frame the way CC Wide Time does but just with the luma values being merged, not the image echoing. I don’t know how Wide Time is actually doing it and why it gets rid of it but it does work as this is a rolling shutter that rolls through the frame so it’s not just one whole frame that is darker or lighter, it’s a part of one.
