    reduced brightness after exporting

    When I export from FCP, the brightness is reduced. How do I prevent this?

    Also, what is the formula to restore the footage to the way it looked before it was exported? i.e. CC3 Way filter, 105 mids 275 highlights.

    A couple of questions.

    Did you judge the brightness values on a video monitor before you exported? Your computer monitor will not help you in judging brightness.
