    Hello!

I applied an animated texture (PNG sequence) to a face of an object. It looks great in the RS Render View, but it is incredibly low quality in the viewport and also not reflecting the rotation change I made to it?

Does anyone know how to set up a higher quality viewport preview of materials? I’d like this to be smooth so I can plan my camera movements accordingly.

    Happy to share more info!

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Click on the material then click on Viewport at the top of the material attributes, then change the Texture Preview Size from default to a large size as you want. let me know if this works for you.

This worked! The only issue is that the rotation in the viewport doesn’t match the rotation in RS Render View. I have the material projection set to “cubic”.

I’m glad you bypassed the texture preview problem, If you are using Primitive Objects make it editable this should make the viewport match the RS render view in the different material projections, let me know if this works.

If you could you post your file here, or at least the part related to the texture that will be better.
