Hey guys, I’ve got an issue with bucket rendering looking terrible compared to progressive mode. This scene has a PBR snow/ice shader that I set up with translucency and it seems like bucket mode ignores this. The photo on the left is bucket, and the right is progressive (what i want it to look like). These are screenshots from the redshift renderview by the way, I’ve tried rendering to picture viewer in bucket mode and get the same drab look. Any help is appreciated!

I’d say the bucket render is getting closer if your looking for something realistic.

Since things like AO, GI etc.. aren’t calculated unless you use the bucket render, that’s why you are seeing a difference.

If you want it brighter try playing with the “Intensity Multiplier” in the sun+sky rig. If you upload the scene, we can play around with it to help get the results your after.
