    Hi

I am trying to add the Redshift plugin to my Cinema 4D installation. The Redshift installer recognizes the Cinema 4D installation correctly and installs the plugin files in the proper folder.

However, the renderer plugin is not showing up in Cinema 4D. The commandline gives an error message –

Error: plugin (redhsift4c4d-loader.cdl64) doesn’t support the required sdk.

What’s happening here? I would really be pleased if anyone could help me out with this. Thanks in advance!

    Regards

I would contact Redshift support for help with this issue.

As an aside, I just saw a news release that Maxon has acquired Redshift.

Okay, thanks! I asked about this issue on the Redshift forums. Let’s see.

Usually, if the plugin is not showing up on the list of available renderers, then I should update my Nvidia drivers. So currently that’s what I am doing. But if the drivers are not up to date, should the redshift plugin work for Maya 2016 when it is not for C4D? Ugh, I don’t know.

Let’s see if it works after the update.
