  RedCine 4X3 into Premiere Pro

  Apologies if this has been answered before. I’m currently working on a project that was shot with the Red Scarlet, framed using the 4X3 window in the camera’s viewfinder. When I bring the footage into premiere, using the red 4k codecs, it displays as 16X9, obviously. My question is how I would go about creating side crops that are true 4X3. I’ve read that cropping 12.5% on each side is approximate, but have been told that it’s still to wide as to what appeared in the viewfinders 4X3…. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated!
