Set up a DV NTSC 48Khz project and captured video. When I edit any source clips to a sequence, they invariably present a red render line on the sequence Forcing me to render even a cuts only timeline when I was ready to export to tape.

Am I forgetting to check some settings here? Never had this sort of thing happen on my media 100… 😉

Perhaps your home world has been demolished to make way for something? Hmmm?

I always wonder what people are hiding when they use an alias. Unless, of course, this Arthur is one of the many stuck with a name that is so famous. Like how many people are named George Bush that don’t even vote Republican.

OK. Now that I have that off my chest….

If you captured into that project, you should not have to render a cuts only edit. Perhaps you need to start Premiere Pro with the Shift key held down to wipe out your preferences file and start fresh? There are various and sundry problems with Premiere 7 (1.0) which is why it was replaced by 1.5 after only eight months.
