  Red reel names

  I am currently editing a feature shot on the Red. I am ingesting the material at the moment and have come across 2 reels shot on the same day that the have been assigned with the same reel name. I am loathed to start changing file names but am worried that there will be confusion when we online everything at the end.

  What is the best way to get around this?

  I am Using fcp studio 2 / Apple prores 422 (HQ)

  The only suggestion i have is the change the source reel name before its transfered. ie. A22_081208.RDC changed to A22a_081208.RDC

  will this affect the transfer/edit/onine?
