RED & PHANTOM WORKFLOWS for AVID
Hello
I am mostly a FCP user but I am being asked to help asst. Avid projects on both RED footage as well as Phantom.
I just looked at the RED/Avid support site and downloaded the whitepaper for that…i will read it and already it seems fairly similar to the FCP workflow in terms of using RedAlert, Rushes, CLipfinder etc.
I however do not know this worj=kflow well at all and the same goes for Phantom and I am just curious to get some advice on both from some AVID experts.
Any advice you guys can provide would be a huge relief.

For Red, look at MetaFuze. Faster renders, straight into Avid mediafiles. https://www.avid.com/metafuze.
As for the Phantom, sorry, i have no idea. You might ask around at the Avid Community Forums. Or specifically in this thread.
