  red eye reduction

  I’m a beginner (my disclaimer) but I am moving along with Sony Vegas. However, when I follow the directions for removing ‘red eye’ I just end up with a green patch around the eye…like a pirate. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Is there a step I’m missing?
