RED Crashes 5.1.2
I can’t seem to get either RED 3 or 4 transitions to work in FCP 5.1.2. I tried deleting FCP prefs and opening with caps lock on then close and reopen, but either when I first try and grab RED transition or when I try to double-click on it in the timeline FCP crashes. Any ideas?

This is a known issue with FCP 5.1.2. It is new in this update of FCP. We are working with Apple to resolve it. In all likelyhood, the issue will remain until the next update to FCP. The filter instance of teh plug in works fine however.
