November 5, 2017 at 8:21 pmI have read other reports of the FCPX interface playing up under High Sierra. Everything from red clips to window layouts randomly resetting but this is the first time I’ve seen any mention of your issue.
I’ve been running High Sierra for a couple of weeks now and I’ve had zero issues so far but I did a clean install rather than an update.
My advice is to never update the operating system past the version that was current when your version of FCPX was released unless there’s a compelling reason to do so. I did update but it was a quiet week and I had to reinstall the machine anyway so it was a chance to play and see how buggy it was. So far, so good.

November 6, 2017 at 2:24 amThings have been weirder since the upgrade to High Sierra. But nothing that routine troubleshooting can’t take care of.
Still, definitely looking forward to 10.4.
