Red artefacts on final render when using Redshift

October 21, 2022 at 7:17 amHi, I’m getting some strange red artefacts on my final renders when using Redshift. It’s like a glitch effect and changes on each frame. Sometimes I’m getting white flashes too. I’ve attached a photo for reference. I’ve tried different settings but can’t fix it. Can anyone offer advice on how I can sort this? Thanks

You’re surely facing rendering and you can check out these possible cause below and adjust it
Examine your hardware and verify that your computer hardware satisfies Redshift’s VRAM requirements.
Verify your materials and lighting: Lighting and material problems can result in unusual artefacts. By eliminating extraneous items and elements, you can make your scene simpler.
Verify your rendering options: Incorrect rendering settings might occasionally result in rendering artifacts.
Upgrade your graphics drivers because old drivers can interfere with Redshift’s rendering. Make sure your graphics card is running on the most recent drivers.
Contact Redshift customer service number: If none of the methods above work
We will love to hear from you on these

March 20, 2023 at 4:09 pmHi, thanks for the reply. I have tried all those things and I’m still getting the same problems. It’s definitely the GPU causing the problem as I have clean renders when using the CPU – It just takes forever. Have ordered a new GPOU with more RAM to see if that will help.

That’s a good option to try out as I mentioned earlier
Kindly let me know if getting an upgraded GPU solved it
