Red 5.1.5 no Glow Alpha on .png export
Running 5.1.5 as standalone. Have a text track with BCC Glow Alpha on it. Everything looks as expected in the composite window. I choose export current frame, and the resulting .png file doesn’t have the filter on it. I don’t see anything obviously wrong in my export settings. After Red finishes exporting the .png, the text shadow disappears from the composite window, only to reappear when I either do refresh image or click anywhere in the timeline. Exporting the comp as .mov produces the proper shadow.

You might try updating to the latest version of RED to see if that resolves the issue. Feel free to contact us in support if that doesn’t work.-James

Well, 5.1.5 as FCP7 plugin works as expected and 5.3 standalone doesn’t have the problem either, so I guess I’ll have to work with it that way.
