Red 5 Transitions and FCP
For some reason the transitions aren’t rendering correctly in FCP using iris ripple(yes I have tried other transitions). Here’s the scenerio; photo montage with moving photos. Out going clip has photo moving across the screen and as the ripple comes in the photo continues to move correctly. The incoming clip the photo which is supposed to be moving is static until the end of the effect then it jumps to where it supposed to be. Tried it on various clips with the same results. Here’s the kicker, if I put a simple FCP cross fade on it all the photo motion is fine, so something in Red isn’t translating it properly.

Could you please send your contact info to us at support@borisfx.com and one of the techs will work with you to resolve the issue. Please include your system information in your message to the support group as well as the exact version of both FCP and RED 5 that you are using so that they will be better prepared to solve the problem.
