Red 5 Error with Vegas 10
I’ve just started working with Red 5 in Vegas 10 64 bit. When working in the Red window and scrubbing the Red timeline with simple 3d text I frequently get an error box multiple times saying “Can’t open settings file”. Vegas and Red then shut down. any ideas what is causing this?

Hi Jim,
Is this a new problem? It may be that your system does not have enough memory to support the work that you are doing.
Sounds like you might need some assistance from tech support to help with this. You might want to drop them a note at support@borisfx.com to see if they are familiar with this issue and perhaps they can offer a solution to prevent the problem from reoccuring.
Don’t forget to provide your full system specs when describing the problem to them as this info will help them in providing a solution.
