Upgraded Red V. 4.0.3 to 4.1. Tracode plugins and Magic Bullet disappear. Will this be resolved soon? Re-installed 4.0 and everything is back to normal. This is within the Red engine as well.

    Hi,

I believe the reason that the filters disappeared is that RED 4.1 is universal binary, while RED 4.0 is not. For the filters to run in a universal binary application, the filters must also be universal binary, and I suspect that the shine filter that you were using is not UB.

I hope this helps to demystify the issue.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Thank you sir. I believe you are right. I was told y Boris guys at NAB to re-install Red with universal binary to overcome some of the FCP issues. However I will just stick with 4.0 in order not to lose the filters that I have. Thanks for your quick response.
