    Hi,

I am trying to remake an animated (After Effects) title in Fusion to reuse frequently. But I can’t figure out how to do it correctly.

I am at the point where everything is animated correctly and I saved the animation in a powerbin so I can use it in other projects. However when I change the name in the title there is a problem with that difference in font style in the same line.

I used ‘Character Level Styling’ to have the given name in black styling and the surname in thin styling. However this is based on the amount of characters in the names. So if someone has a shorter or longer given name or surname, the styling doesn’t match the names anymore (hope I am explaining it well).

To make a long question short…what is the best way to reproduce this title (shown in the gif) and to make it available for upcoming projects as well. (with different names)? (and should I use Macro’s, or is a powerbin enough).

If you want to Renate it out, I would consider two font nodes…one for title, one for position. You’ve discovered the issue with character level styles…the work around us to select all the characters and change the style away from, and then back to the style you want.

For a simple 2 liner..I would use two nodes..(maybe group everything but the text plus nodes)…and make a macro out if it. With inputs and outputs available.
