Does anyone know what how I can recreate this distorted glitched out effect and apply them to a model. They appear to be standard human figures that have been procedurally displaced so heavily the mesh begins to break apart, and this displacement seems to be isolated to certain areas of the mesh, but I’m having trouble achieving anything this distorted. I’m using a standard free human model with a polycount

If anyone’s got any useful ideas, tips or methods as to how I can recreate something like this and be able to tweak the parameters of the distortion/displacement, that would be super helpful.

    Thanks in advance !

    Hello Joe,

I don’t see any repeated pattern, indicating that this is a displacement map.

Are you sure that it is? To my eyes, it looks more like sculpting or Mograph generators. But it can be a very advanced displacement map. If it is, I am not sure whether someone can show you how to do it in a forum. Creating advanced displacement maps are not even Cinema 4D (creating them).
