Don’t do anything to your drive. Don’t write to the drive. Turn off the computer. Then Google Data Recovery and start dialing. This can be very costly, but your best chance of recovery is to stop using the drive immediately. Usually formatting just wipes the directory that tells the OS where each file is located pn the drive. It may not have erased the data. However, if you use the drive, you may overwrite data as the OS thinks the drive is empty.
