    Hey guys and girls,

Is there a quick and easy way to internally record your computer’s text to speech function? I need to do a VO with a computer voice and would love to just be able to make an AIFF straight from Text Edit or something. Is there a way?

    Best,

    Eli

    Hi
    I’ve used this:
    https://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/

I found I could get better control of intonation and phrasing using Word rather than TextEdit – lots of funny punctuation to get the speech sounding natural.
(The text-to-speech component of Word needs installing to be available).

You could also just record from the audio out jack into a camera or a deck.

Thanks a bunch guys. A crackpot team of people over here tackled it some how…but good to know for the future.

    Best,

    Eli
