Been following posts on the new camera. Have any of you new owners recorded audio using external mics ? Read a post that the xlr inputs might be at a different db level than most camcorders. Would like to hear any results of your audio recordings, any problems ? how would you rate the quality of the recorded audio. Thanks for any info. Hope Panasonic has plenty of demos at NAB, cause I am sure we will keep them busy.

    Thanks
    Tom

    Hi,

The XLRs are -50 and -60db in. Check the specs on your mic and it will be fine.

As far as NAB,there will be plenty of them on display to fiddle with. 😉

    Best,

    Jan
