record the writing trail/fill outlined word
Hi all,
I am newly to AE.I want do something like capturing the trail of writing a word. From this great forum, I think it could be done by using Paint > write on, right ? but I wonder this is just to capture the motion, but not the outline of the font as well. In other words, I have an outline of a character, could I use AE to capture the motion of filling up the word ?

It is about making elements grow in AE and its the same way I write on text.
You basically trace your text using MOTION SKETCH then apply those keframes to the brush
position of the WRITE ON effect then use that layer as a LUMA MATTE so that the text writes on
exactly how the font looks.Hope this helps!
