    Hello to all,

I’m not sure where to post this question, so I apologize if you read this more than once.

I have just had a meeting with a church that wants to hire me to produce a video for them. The “product” is their new website that is like MySpace or Facebook, but for the church members only.

They want to show what a person would see on the computer screen. Basically just navigating around the site.

I have never done this. So, does anyone know the best program (of course $$ is always an issue) to do this? The spot will also have some footage of the Pastor talking about the new site. This will be shot DVCProHD 720pN24 with the HVX200. And I edit with FCP 6.0.4.

I guess it would be helpful is to hear about pros and cons of different software. Also if anyone knows of Free software as well as software that I would need to purchase, and why I should choose to spend the extra money. I also have no idea if any of these applications would record in HD?

    Thanks in advance,

I use iShowu at https://www.shinywhitebox.com/home/home.html. It’s $20.00 and works very well.

Now I am using DemoCreator to make website demos and software tutorials, but it is for windows only. Another screen recorder camtasia can record the computer screen in HD, but it also for windows. But Jing Project from Camtasia is free and there is a Mac version. I have check more information about screen for Mac:
    1. snapz pro https://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/
    2. Screenium –https://www.synium.de/products/screenium/index.html
    3. IShowU- https://www.shinywhitebox.com/home/home.html
    4. ScreenFlow – https://www.flip4mac.com/screenflow.htm

    ScreenFlow is a nice one.

I like Acethinker Online Screen Recorder, which could record webcam video, desktop video and upload the video to Youtube freely. It could record the video as long as you wish. Not like the other screen recorder, which just let you record one minute or with large watermark on the video. I always use it to create screencast on my macbook pro, free and works fairly well.
