This is from a location shoot where only one mic on the camera was working.

I’m trying to remove the room noise and bring up the voices as the overall recording is poor.

I applied Acon Deverb and Vocal Enhancer in Audition but it’s still coming across as metallic and tinny.

    Any other options or recommendations?

    Hi Jim –

The following Audition help file will get you at least part of the way:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/audition/using/noise-reduction-restoration-effects.html

Normalizing may help in bringing up the sound levels as well. If the camera was pretty far from the talent you may be stuck with the room ambience, but maybe boosting the bass a bit could help as well.

they don’t say it in the help files, but applying little bit at a time until you hear tinnyness then back up one time instead of one hard noise reduction all at once.

capture noise print/noise process works well for me.
