I’m very stumped on this- never has happened for me before- I transferred my timeline to another drive (bigger one) and have been linking up media to the new capture scratch

there is a sequence in my timeline where you can see the clip ID (i.e. 74.tomsitsdown.T2) right in the time line, but the display screen only says “offline media” (as opposed to “74.tomsitsdown.T2, Offline”)

I am unable to link this sequence in any way to the new capture scratch.. the “reconnect media” option under FILE just will not identify what is missing in the timeline even though I can pull up the original media in the capture scratch file.

Is there a way I can connect the missing media, perhaps manually?

    Arthur,

You could try to reconnect media with the “match name only” turned off, but if this is just a single clip, it might be faster to simply re-import the media tomsitsdown.t2 and perform a replace edit — might even be able to subclip to you in & out and then fit to fill.
