Hi, i imported a bunch of clips from drive A … to drive B (accidentaly), then i brought drive A home so I can export my work, but a bunch of files are offline (typically quicktimes) … I see that the UNC path is linking to the drive (A) .. but when I select relink, relink by.. choose the more column, all the options are greyed out..

any way to relink those files?

    thx

If you have the files, you can simply copy them from one drive’s “Avid MediaFiles” folder to another. Once they are there, and you relaunch, MC/Symphony will rebuild the media databases, and you footage should come back online.

Yes, that should be the easiest solution, but that wasn’t working… I was able to reconnect some of them by re-importing the files, then selecting the ones offline and relink. No an easy way to do it, but it was better than re-editing the whole thing!
