Reconnect Media problem
I’m running Final Cut Pro 5.0.4. I just moved some media from one external drive to another and I’m getting a weird problem when I try to reconnect the media. In the Reconnect Files window, I can use Locate or Search to find a clip in its new location, but when I find it, it stays in the Offline Files list and doesn’t show up in the Files Located list. Also the Connect button stays gray, as though I hadn’t located any clips. If I am trying to reconnect multiple clips, it will do the same thing, but if I click on Locate or Search after “finding” the first clip, it will now be looking for the second clip, as though it had actually found the first. Again, all the clip names will stay listed in Offline.
I’ve reconnected tons of media before on this system and never had this problem. Any suggestions?

Never mind. Some of the media files had become corrupted, so they were acting weird when I tried to reconnect them.
