Putting this in the field forum as I know we grip everything in the field – and hoping someone has some recommendations. We have Sachtler Studio Pedestals (C-III) ( a couple of different flavors – but 3 of the four are typical tripod adjustable legs on the detachable dollys). Looking for solutions to mount small ~24″ led monitors to these pedestals for confidence monitoring. We are considering this approach as the studio has limited floor space for an individual monitor pedestal, and the budget is too tight to have a prompter/monitor bundle (and the heads are a bit at the top of the weight side).

Anyone have a cool solution? Any photos, ideas, links, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You just need a small articulated grip arm with a 1/4-20 threaded stud to mount the monitor and a small clamp, grip head or similar stud that fits into the tripod. The Markertek, Matthews or similar catalogs or websites will have plenty. Just search “monitor arm.”

Thanks Bill. Appreciate the response. Totally get the approach, and we’ve ordered a couple of options to test, just hoping someone had any slick solutions they have done in the past with some photos. Thank you.
