Recommended i/o Software/Firmware for OSX 10.3.9 & FCP 4.5HD w/2.25TB Xserve Raid
Hello everyone…
I need to rebuild my system and basically do some spring-cleaning and updating.
(Yes, I know its winter… it just happens to be our slowest time of the year which means its a perfect time to clean and update.)I plan to reformat all system drives and raid drives. Basically, start from scratch.
I was just wondering what is the best software/firmware version to use for the i/o with this setup?
Before someone asks… all software upgrades, OS and FCP, were kicked out of my budget for this year. (I wasn’t happy, but what can ya do?)
Quick info: Dual 2.0GHz G5 w/4GB Ram, Aja i/o, Xserve Raid 2.25TB, FCP 4.5, DVDSP 2.0, AE 6.5, Phtshp & Illstrtr CS 1.0
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A clean install once in awhile is a good idea.
Just install all your software then proceed to the websites of the software and download the latest drivers/updates. Also, perform OS update on your mac. I believe you have to install FCP first. Open it and run it and then shut it down – then, install AJA.
