Recommended BT-LH1700 Monitor Settings for HVX200
Could I get feedback as to what settings users recommend for the Panasonic BT-LH1700W when shooting with the HVX200 in the field or studio – (connected via the component cable)
I am shooting a presentation (720 24PN) next week for a plastic surgeon, filming his practice and interviewing patients. I will be using this monitor for the first time.
With the various settings on this monitor – color temp settings – hi and low RGB settings – adjustable gamma – and Cine Gamma (Film Rec compensation), etc, I’m a little confused as to what would be the ideal “reference” settings for viewing 720 24PN direct from the camera – i.e. what should be turned on, what should be turned off, etc.
I’d truly appreciate feedback on specific settings suggested to achieve a reasonable WYSIWYG result.
Also, does everyone/anyone use the onboard scopes while shooting (any advice truly appreciated)?
I just want to make sure I don’t have the wrong set up in the field and get surprised in post.
Thank you so much.
