Right now am using 32bit AIF files on a 2 year old iMac, syncing audio within FCPX 10.1 then exporting project XML to Resolve.

Resolve has a problem recognizing, importing these files.
Get an error message saying files are missing or have wrong timecode extents.
    FCPX obviously has no problem.

Can anyone suggest which audio formats work best for XML imports in Resolve?

I’d like to do a final render in Resolve WITHOUT roundtripping back to any NLE.
    Thanks!

    Hi Jim.
I know it’s been a while, but, did you ever find out the best audio formats for DR ?
    Thanks

Best audio is the industry standard 24 bit 48khz wav or broadcast wav. Recorders and software systems that can record timecode, create broadcast wavs.
