  • Recommendations for video out card that is thunderbolt aware?

We are moving from a Mac Pro Tower to a new Mac Pro. Our current computer has an AJA NTV2 card that at this point is used only to drive the 52″ monitor that we used to play back video from Media 100. The card is no longer used to capture video. We don’t want this monitor to show up in system video, we only want it to be seen by Media 100 as a playback source. We will have a thunderbolt PCI breakout box so we would just need a PCI card that is thunderbolt aware. Anyone have any suggestions.

The Aja T-Tap would be a SDI/HDMI out only Thunderbolt adapter. Or any Aja or Blackmagic card, depending on your connection needs. We use various Aja cards that work very reliably. Kona LHe+ would be the cheapest option there.

Thank you. And the t-tap connected monitor will be recognized by Media 100 as an output video choice?
