    Hey guys,

The best quality I can get just short of doing a full render in C4D is using Hardware mode and I’ll use this when I do animatic style previews for clients. It can do the trick for simple things but when I get more involved with textures and such, it still doesn’t accurately depict them and falls short on some of the lighting. I’ve tried checking off TEXTURES and NOISES and POST EFFECTS under OPEN GL but these don’t help.

Whether it’s a particular video card or different renderer to provide clients a more clearer look at the render before I go to final, can anyone recommend anything that would do a better job than HARDWARE?

    Thanks a lot,
    Brian

Have you tried doing a standard render with cpu-intensive things like GI, AO, area shadows, motion blur, and AA turned off?
