    Hello can anybody recomend a good CRT display for colour correcting HD/HDV material (PAL), although may consider an LCD display, but prefer a CRT.

    anybody any ideas?

    I think any Sony BVW series monitor, or any Ikegami monitor will do the trick. I may be wrong, but I don’t think Sony makes CRT’s now – you’ll have to go through someplace like TVProgear.com (they have a warranty)or ebay which is a crap shoot). If you can afford it, take it to a broadcast maintenace shop shop and ask to have the phosphors calibrated. They’ll put this little spider looking thing on the screen and make sure the RGB guns are firing at the same intensity.
