Is it possible to to the “Recent Projects” list/welcome screen (the one you see when Premiere Pro first launches) from an open project? Or in order to get to this list must the application quit and relaunch?

    Hey Wes,

    Long time, no talk…

In 2.0 from a open project, go to File\Open Recent Projects and you’ll get a
fly-out list of recent projects which cooresponds to the list you get when
you launch the app. But I don’t know how to get to that particular screen
w/o relaunching. Why do you want to?

I want to because I want to, no better reason. I figured the Open Recent menu was the closest I was going to get.

Don’t think I’ll see you at the Clatter & Din party, we’re not going down. Have a beer for me!

Too bad, would be good to see you. I’ll be sure to blame having to have
‘just one more’ on you though! 😉

You can choose File | Close to put away the current project and be presented with “Recent Projects” list.

Cool, thanks Dave. I didn’t try that!

Thanks, I didn’t try that. I had closed the Project tab which in 2.0 doesn’t actually close the project.
