recapture crashes system
recapturing 1080i prores from HDV 1500…get a couple clips in, and te system crashes.
this is an outside project that we’re uprezzing and color correcting. I had done some tests prior and was able to batch capture 20 clips with out a hitch…any possible sequence settings I should be concerned with that may cause issues?
MacPro 8 core 8GB ram, capturing to either local SCSI or fiber drives…same issue.

well, i was trying to recapture HD SDI out of the deck, I tried just about every option i could think of. last resort, i changed all my settings to HDV, and am capturing via firewire, and so far no lockups…but this is an hour show, and i’m on the 1st tape…we’ll see how it goes.

so i’m getting dropframe/nondrop frame mismatch error when trying to capture from timeline…timeline is drop, sources are non….is that an issue?
