rebuilding startup disk
According to Jerry Hofmann’s article in your premier issue of Creative Cow Magazine (May, 2006), he says one of the things to do in order to have a “rock solid system” is to “rebuild your startup disk and reload your applications at least every 6-9 months” – depending on usage. I use mine very regularly and am considering doing a rebuild/reload. However, not wanting to do any damage to my system in the process, because I’m not exactly an expert at this kind of thing, I was wondering if there was a detailed list of how-to steps to follow.
I have a MacBook Pro running OS 10.4.11. If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful. Thank you.
