Rebuilding Old Final Cut project from XDCAM-HD disks
I have an old Final Cut Project that I need to rebuild. The project is old enough that the media in the Capture Scratch folder was long ago dumped. In the old Betacam days, I could simply redigitize with the original tapes. But this project was shot on XDCAM disks, and originally built by file transfer through XDCAM Transfer.
How do I replace the dumped media files and reconnect everything?

Reimport the files from the original XDCAM file backup. If there’s no backup of the shoot, you’re in a world of hurt.
