Realtime video mapping (plugin for Millumin)
Hello,
Millumin, the software for videomapping and theaters, is proud to introduce its new After Effects plugin.
It allows you to send the output from After Effects directly to Millumin : it’s a bridge between the creation (with After Effects) and the video projection onto the surface (the videomapping). No more intermediate rendering : everything is now made in real time !Here is a tutorial, showing the process and some examples (light effect, contours, 3D, …)

BUT…Millumin is only for the Mac. Any hope for Windows users?Thomas Leong

Thank you. A Windows version is currently in development, but I cannot give you a relase date yet. I’m sorry.
Moreover, Windows doesn’t feature the technology available on Mac, and that allows to share video frames between application at no cost. So the same After Effects plugin will be difficult to write. Time will tell.

There is an equivalent on Windows, called Wyphon, but this is a very early technology …
