  Realtime REDRaw playback on MC5.5?

  Hi

  I just upgraded to MC5.5, and was testing it earlier on my stock 6gb ram MacPro 8-core 2.4ghz (with Quadro 4000). I tested out AMA with RAW RED files (4hours worth directly into the timeline) and found it’s playing back in realtime without transcoding?!? My timeline is on half yellow, half green. This is so awesome. I was so excited about this that I tried installing on my MBP Core2Duo to see if I can get the same performance but unfortunately it didn’t. Was wondering if anyone with the new Thunderbolt MBP (13, 15 and 17) have had realtime performance as well? Please post your MBP spec. It may be time to upgrade my laptop.
