  • Realtime preview of Composition Window when dragging Current Time Indicator

    Hi,

When I drag the Current Time Indicator backwards and forwards across layers, (ie. backwards and forwards along the timeline) pictures on those layers do not change their positions until I let go of the mouse button. After Effects used to ‘animate’ the pictures’ positions in real time as I dragged back and forth but for some reason this has stopped happening. Can anyone explian how I change this?

    Many thanks.

It is in the preferences. It is under the preview tab….It is the adaptice resolution that you want to activate. In version 7, you can access these settings fro the comp window…look for the little box near the lower right corner that looks like a lightning bolt.

    Regards
