    Hi all,

    is it happening also on other workstations that if the effect handling is turned to “final cut hd” the timeline- and clip-scrubbing becomes extremely slow(10 bit sd pal)?
    if its set to “decklink sd” then the scrubbing is like it should be, but there are no realtime effects anymore.

    i’m interested if i’m the only one that has to work with that “problem”…

    That’s because FCP is providing the realtime effects, not the decklink. If you have a fast machine and very fast drives, then scrubbing via FCP should also be fine.

    i have the fastest machine available, the dual 2.7…
    the “scrubbing-speed-difference” between the 2 settings is enormous!
    it’s not a real problem, but instant feedback makes it much more interactive…
